Gone for the weird view today
As you can see, I had a bit of fun with this photo when I scanned it onto my PC.

Can you tell me what you see?

What's on the far side of the river?

I wonder who lives up in those distant hills?

Go on, give us some ideas as to what's in the photo and in a few days time, I will post the real one for you.

Until then, have fun and God bless.

At first I thought this was a picture of a nudist beach, and I wasn’t going to say what I saw.

But then I realized this was taken with an X-ray lens and those were bones, not...

Anyway, isn’t that Jed Clampet, granny, Jethro and Elly May in the hills?

Hey, who knows? Maybe they do. I might even live next door to them. I better go take me a look.

You all come back now, you hear?

The waves lapping on the shore ... sea gulls dancing on the waves ... mountains of clouds standing in majestic authority over the sea ...

    Perhaps I'm not very creative at 2am . . .

    K. Jimmy, You've met the little people? Way cool. You must bring some with you when you come visit.

I used to have a horse, but that was years ago. I live in the city now, though my heart is out galloping the beaches and windswept hills.

Have a great day and God bless

Ame, sounds lovely. I love the sea. I am looking forward to hearing what you think when I post the real photo.

You were up at 2am? gasp That's 2 hours before I climb out of bed and start writing.

In my mind's eye, the phot appears to be a combination of the Huachuca Mountains in Arizona during monsson season and the beach that is in my little corner of the worlds when a hurricane is brewing off the coast. given those two situations, the individual in the photo is a woman caught between the two storms but finds beauty in her predicament.
BTW...perhaps I am clearer of thought because unlike everyone else...I chose to sleep last night :)HE HE HE

yea...but sleep didn't help my typing skills and spell check abilities any now did they??????? I meant to type photo/monsoon/world......I think a nap would be nice...so my hillbilly neighbors went to NZ for the weekend??? I thought it was quite next door. :)

Looks like Waihi with Whale Island in the distance, could just be me though. As for the hills in the distance I'd relate the might of a storm to the magnificence of the mountains. God bless aotearoa.

Sissy B, you are so close to what it is. Hey, typos are okay. They can add an air of fun. :)

Anonymous, hi there. Great to have you visit. You sound like a kiwi.

The photo was taken at the Mount and that is Whale Island in the distance. I hope you come back and see the real photo.
