I saw Mt St Helens blow. It was devastating.

Be careful.

David, wow. were you actually there to see it, or did you see it on TV? I watched it on TV and it was beyond words. It would have been frightening to have been there.

I'll be careful. Mt Ngauruhoe and Mt Ruapehu are only 2 or 3 hours drive from us and if we drive to the top of a good sized hill, we can see them.

When Ruapehu erupted 10 years ago, ash fell here in Hamilton.
