Hills of iron
If one grain of sand counted for 100 years, then one cupful of sand out numbers our time on this earth.

Imagine all the grains of sand in the world. Their vast number cannot even begin to match the years of eternity. Eternity can't be counted in years, because it will be timeless, but oh, what a thought.

    Eternity...

We're here for billions and billions and billions of years. Thinking of it seems to take the rush out of everything.

Hey, is that why women are always late?

Aren't men always first anyway whether they like it or not, because women like to make them wait?
Cool thought on sand and eternity.

Great picture Rulan! That's a thought provoking observation. Pastor made this little chart one time , about how long is eternity...and the number continued off the page!

this is why I like to do jokes about men...they know how to rile...and be impatient!

John, hi there. Nah, they just like having an excuse if they're late. chuckle

Bonnie, hi there. Thanks. Our Pastor showed it once by placing a small block of wood on the floor of the church and saying that everywhere else in the world and universe stood for eternity. Men, where would we be without them, eh? lol

    M. C. Hello and thank you.

jel, hi there. Nice to see you. I gather that you are our very own Janice? So you know have your own blog? Way cool, girl. Go for it.

    Dear Sister Janice,

"And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace." Isaiah 9:6

I can now visualize the word, "Eternal" with your wonderful visual.

Jesus is gracious & merciful always, God Bless, Janice:-)

Eternity is a profound concept to be sure. When we contemplate, it can sure bring humility to think that we are temporal creatures, but an infinite God is willing to share eternal life with us.
