Curse of The Nephilim by D.A. Meigs
This book is the first in a series and a must read if you enjoy adventure and the thrill of seeing God’s power at work.

It is a spiritual warfare novel packed full of fun and adventure. The Blade boys get up to some amazing antics and see some awesome things.

I love the way the character's come to life. They seemingly leap off the pages.

David Blade, the main character, follows God's calling even though he knows it leads right into danger and the gravest test of his life.

Talk about keeping me on the edge of my seat. My heart was in my throat.

I wanted to keep the main character at home safe and sound, but he insisted on following the Lord no matter what, even if it meant death or worse.

D.A. Meigs sure knows how to tell a story and I could see the grace of God all the way through his book. What a way to show people the benefits of following the Lord and the possible consequences if they don’t.

Awesome!

Mr. Meigs began writing the books when he learned that he had a terminal illness. As a leaving gift to his family, he set about writing a book for each of his children.

In “Curse of The Nephilim,” the main character is named after his oldest son, David and so it works on through for each of his children with each new book.

At present, the book is off the market as Mr. Meigs is updating it.

Soon it will be available again and will even have a brand new cover. I am looking forward to getting a copy of the new version once it is in print. When it comes out, I will be sure to announce it's arrival.

Now, here is something awesome.

Mr. Meigs gave Pa Blade the same terminal illness that threatened his own life. He had planned to have Pa die, but felt the Lord say that Pa was to be healed ninety percent after a seven-year curse was broken. So, Mr. Meigs wrote it in as he felt led.

Then God did an amazing thing. He healed Mr. Meigs ninety percent after seven years, just as had been written for Pa Blade. Mr Meigs is our curm of Curmudgeon's Rant.

God is awesome and His mercies never end. All praise be to Him Who sits on the throne and unto the Lamb. Glory to God.

Wow, I am honored that you thought so much of my scribblings. Thank you for telling the story too. It is silly, but I am timid about sharing it.

Janice, you are making perfect sense. It is neat to see how much you care for others.

I would also be sad to loose such a good friend. Isn't it amasing how people can become friends over the pc? God is awesome and one day we will all meet, weather that be on this side or the other, only the Lord knows. But that day will be grand.

    Kid,
Just go to the blog you want to link to-right click on the main page-go down to 'properties' and click on it. That will give you the URL of the blog. Copy that URL.
Then go to the template of your blog and down to where the link section is(where it says "Google News, and Edit Me. Then just paste that URL in where it applies-the "Google News" thin is your guide on how to do it.
Any problems, let me know. I'll haalp you'ns. hehe
