Too far away

The sea separates friends and holds them at bay.

How can we cross it?

How can friends shake hands?

How can those who have never met, touch the life of another?

How can our Lord walk upon the sea?

All of these are mysteries to me.

Yet I know in my heart, such things can be done

when all things flow in the light of God’s Son.
